Last week, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), which administers funding for the E-Rate program, announced that it has extended the deadline for E-rate applications (FCC Form 471) for the upcoming funding year. The deadline was extend by four weeks from April 29, 2016 to May 26, 2016. USAC is also opening another filing window for libraries and consortia (groups of school districts), which will close July 21, 2016.
