Community Rules and Privacy Guidelines
Thank you for being part of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) community which provides an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and receive feedback. By joining and using this community, you agree that you have read and will follow these rules for participation. In order to preserve a professional and collegial climate, TASBO reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership in this community for violation of these rules.
The Rules
- Don't use abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or challenging language.
- Do not post advertisements, solicitations, or promotions on any discussion list, resource library entry, or other area shared with the community. If requested or you believe it would be helpful, product and service information may be shared directly with a community member.
- Job postings are not permitted in the Open Forum.
- Keep comments nonpartisan and relevant to issues of concern or interest to school business officials.
- Use caution when discussing products, as comments regarding specific products or services could be subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.
- Abide by the legal rules below.
- Post your message or documents only to the most appropriate lists or libraries.
- Understand that messages are not private. Do not post confidential, private, or legally privileged information.
- Messages that may compromise the integrity of any procurement process or that promote or facilitate agreements about prices; terms or conditions of sale or procurement; salaries; cost data; or selection, rejection, or termination of vendors or suppliers are impermissible
- Do not post any information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner.
