Hello!
I was born in East Texas, and traveled the world as a Military Child never attending the same school for more than 2 years. I was raised by educators in a blended family. My mother in law is a retired Business Manager who shared with me her passion and taught me that there was a way to give back to public ed, not in a classroom. I have found the calling of my dreams and consider it my greatest passion in life and high honor to work in public ed. Now being able to serve from the ESC to all districts in our Region is the highlight of my career. Pairing my heart of service with a passion and calling so deeply rooted for public education, change, is the epitome of my career.
My husband and I met in 2006 and married in 2008, we have 4 children plus a bonus kid and 4 grandchildren. My hobby is crafting, but as you can imagine I mostly spend time attending my family functions and children's sporting events. I love the fast-paced life we have created and wouldn't have it any other way.
It is my greatest desire to help and to serve those around me, and I LOVE that TASBO and the ESC offers a great avenue to not only have access to amazing resources for myself, but to also give back to my peers. That is the beauty of public education that you'd never find in the private sector.
