Due to the fact that many school districts and charter schools are continuing to deal with the impact of Hurricane Harvey and assessing the extent of their damages, TEA has posted correspondence to allow the schools located in the 58-county disaster declaration area who are closed due to the hurricane to apply for a Missed School Day Waiver for up to four additional days missed from Tuesday, September 5, 2017 to Friday, September 8, 2017.
