School districts should review their near-final Summary of Finances for school year 2015-16 for changes, if any, after the Texas Education Agency made certain adjustments to estimated earned state aid calculations. The adjustments involved Mainstream ADA and do not affect districts that reported ADA through the EDIT+ system, according to the TEA announcement. Some school districts and open-enrollment charter schools may observe an increase in the balance due to TEA that will be recovered from remaining payments for the 2016-17 school year.
