An update on reporting instructions for school districts for the fiscal year 2016 Annual Financial Report was posted by the Texas Education Agency Financial Compliance Division. The update stated,
"The Audit application in the TEA Secure Environment (TEASE) is now open for the 2016 fiscal year annual financial report submissions. Please note row 2540: Net Pension Liability has been added to the data feed exhibit A-1, Statement of Net Position. The Net Pension Liabilities amount will be required to be reported under the new data feed row 2540 on Exhibit A-1, Statement of Net Position. The Annual Financial Report Data Feed Standards on the Electronic Submissions web page (http://tea.texas.gov/Finance_and_Grants/Financial_Compliance/Electronic_Submissions/) has also been updated for this new row. A To The Administrator Addressed Correspondence will be sent out shortly with additional information."
