The 2016 Tax Information Survey is open until midnight on August 31, 2016, to submit your school district's tax collections. Submitting this information to the Texas Education Agency is important to your school district because the Texas Education Agency will be able to calculate as early as September 2016 the most accurate Foundation School Program state aid settle-up estimates in the near-final Summary of Finances (SOF) for school year 2015–2016. Missing this deadline will affect your school district's cash-flows under the Foundation School Program in school year 2016-17 until the J-1 schedule tax collections in the Annual Financial and Compliance Report are incorporated in the 2015–2016 SOF in April 2017.
