Preliminary compliance determinations for school year 2014-15 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B) LEA maintenance of effort (MOE) are to be released in early April 2016, according to a recent Texas Education Agency announcement. School districts and open-enrollment charter schools will have only five business days to file clarifying information to show the district was actually in compliance, if the preliminary determination report indicates compliance issues. To expedite the communication process, districts are requested to complete an online survey to identify the primary contact person for communications regarding the preliminary compliance review.
