Open-enrollment charter schools must submit a completed Texas Education Agency Charter School Annual Financial and Compliance Report (AFR) Data template when submitting their AFR for fiscal year 2015. The requirement to use the TEA-developed template is new for fiscal year 2015 and is to be submitted by the same deadline that applies to submitting the AFT.
The TEA announcement also stated, "Each open-enrollment charter school is required to submit the AFR package (the AFR data template (Excel file); a PDF copy of the AFR with all appropriate signatures; and a certificate of board that has been marked approved or disapproved, dated, and signed) to TEA by the 150th day after the end of the charter’s fiscal year."
