According to a post on the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), Legislative Affairs Community, "the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) announced last week that the FY2015 application filing window for the E-Rate program has been extended. School leaders and technology officers now have until April 16, 2015 to submit their E-Rate application (FCC Form 471) for discounts on telecommunications services. They have decided to extend the deadline in response to multiple requests from schools across the country.
