The Comptroller's office has posted new data visualization tools showing local government tax rates and levies. In addition to showing total taxes, the site shows comparisons of M&O versus I&S for school districts as well as cities and counties and allows for comparisons of effective, rollback, and adopted rates by unit of local government and year. As this may generate questions from community members, you may want to review the information available.

The TEA has posted the Near Final Summary of Finance that should include your district's summer PEIMS reported average daily attendance as well as the tax collections you submitted through the tax information survey. Be sure to log on and review your updated SOF to make sure it ties to local revenue projections. Feel free to contact us if you have questions.
