A draft copy of the proposed 2015-2016 Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH) along with an updated 2015-2016 SAAH change document were posted by the Texas Education Agency on the SAAH website, according to an announcement today from TEA.
TEA also posted an updated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document related to HB2610. HB2610 struck the language that required 180 days of instruction and replaced the language with a requirement to provide at least 75,600 minutes of instruction each school year.
